Hey everyone, Well we’re on the last part of this 3 part series! Just a recap about what the other 2 parts were about: Part 1 was about being thankful. Part 2 was about family and this part is about friendship. 1 Samuel 20:42 says;”Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.’” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town.” Did you catch those first 3 words? Go in peace. Life can be pretty crazy at times and I know from personal experience that family and just life in general can get pretty crazy at times if not all the time and sometimes you just need to talk to a close friend about what’s going on in your life because that can be very healing even as you’re going through a break up as I’ve slowly been learning these past few months along with lessons about forgiving someone that doesn’t deserve to be forgiven because while people can be very sweet they can also be very mean and hurt you more than they may realize. Something that I’ve been learning this year is that no matter how hard it is you do need to forgive that person that either is hurting right now or has hurt you in the past which I know is hard to do something that I’ve done in the past is write a letter to that person that hurt you but don’t send it because it can be very therapeutic and can help you move on with your life and can help you realize how you feel about that person. Proverbs 18:24 says ;”A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” This verse describes what this year has been like relationship wise for me and maybe it’s the same for you. I know life can be pretty crazy and it can feel like everything is crumbling down but in time God will show you why you’re going this and this is just a season that you’re going through. Romans 12:10 says;” Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Basically what this verse means is that in life we need to put others needs in front of our own needs which I know can be hard there are even times that I have trouble putting other people’s needs in front of my needs but something that I’ve learned is that while it’s good to take care of yourself you also need to take care of other people as well. I’m going to finish this blog post and series by challenging you to take the time to see how someone that you haven’t talked to in a while. As always, if you have any questions, prayer requests or just want to talk feel free to comment below or message me! :) Thanks for reading!
