Encouragement part 3: Encouraging others

Hey everyone, so I decided to write about encouraging others because this corona virus is getting pretty crazy to where it seems like everyone is scared. Here is some verses that I hope helps. 2nd Corinthians 12:9-10 says;” But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you,for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why for Christ’s sake, I delieght in weakness,in insults, in hardships,in persecution, in difficulties, For when I am weak then I am strong.” Did you catch that? Paul delighted in hardships because it made him a better person and as Christians, we need to follow his example.

A good way to do that is to use your life as a example. Take my life for example: I was told by my 3rd grade principal that I can’t learn even though while I was at Ottumwa Job Corps I got my certification in medical office and got a 12.9 in reading. That’s just one example. I know to some people that isn’t a big deal but to me that is a big deal. Maybe you accomplished something that’s a big deal to you even though you had some or maybe a lot of set backs in the past. Use that to your advantage to lead others to Christ!

Psalms 42:11 says;”Why my soul are you down cast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” In life, there are times that all of us feel down. It’s in those times that you really need to lean on Christ because he’ll lead you through even the most darkest tunnels of life. It’s that same courage that will show you what to say to those who are hurting.

As I close this blog post and series, I just want to challenge you to at least one person that is going through a hard time or even just someone that you haven’t talked to in a while or both! As always, if you have any questions about anything, need someone to talk to and or have any prayer requests feel free to message me or comment below. Thanks for reading!
