Stress

Hey everyone, so this week I’m talking about stress because stress is a common thing for everyone. For me personally, I’ve had some health issues because of stress to where there have been times that I’ve had to take a step back from some things either permanently or just for a little bit and that’s okay. Philippians 4:6 says;” Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”  You can bring everything to God because he’ll always be there for you no matter what happens! I know life is stressful. Just this week as I’m writing this my life is getting even more stressful because I found out that my hours have been cut so now, I’m either going to find a different job with more hours or find a way to work from home that I can set my own hours while also making sure that my anxiety doesn’t go even crazier than it already is and that’s okay. Life wasn’t meant to be normal or even stress free for me personally life has always been challenging because I have speech issues because of autism so growing up even now there have been times that I’ve either stuttered or even had a hard time talking occasionally especially when I’m stressed. James 1:2-4 says;” Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” Life is full of trials and that’s okay because it produces perseverance which is a great way to deal with stress because even though life is stressful there is joy in life you just have to look for it even in the midst of COVID and all the crazy stuff that’s happening in this world. Another way to cope with stress is by saying to yourself that even though this situation is happening God is bigger than ALL SITUATIONS!!! Take my current job situation “even though my hours have been cut at my current job God is bigger than my job and will take care of me forever.” Jeremiah 29:11-23 says;”’ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Did you catch that? You will seek and find me when you seek me with ALL your heart! God will always take care of you no matter what happens as long as you seek Him with all your heart, he won’t give you anything that you can’t handle. I know life is stressful but through Christ you can do anything you set your mind to. The most important lesson you can learn when it comes to life is to trust Christ with ALL your heart! As I close, I just want to challenge you to take life 1 day at a time and trust God with every area of your life. As always, If you need someone to talk to, have any questions or prayer requests feel free to e-mail me at Homeschoolgradblog@gmail.com, message me my blog Facebook page or comment below. Have a great week. Thanks for reading!
