You are chosen

Hey everyone, so this week I will be talking about God’s love for you and how you can share his love with others who may not have that opportunity. Take the people that live in Ukraine for example, can you imagine being taken from the land that you grew up in? It is hard to even think about it but one of the things that God has been teaching me through what I have been going through recently is that I am going to be okay and so will everyone else in this crazy world that we are living in.

Ephesians 1:4-7 (NIV) says;” For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will- to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given to the one he loves.”  You were created for his purpose! I know from experience that life can be crazy sometimes if not all the time but even though life’s full of twists and turns we all should praise God through it all no matter what happens.

Ephesians 1:4-6 (NIV) says; For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will – to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”  Did you catch that first part? He chose us before the creation of the world! He chose you just like he chose me! God has a plan for every one of us so as Easter is approaching quickly, I want to challenge you to really lean into what he is teaching you! Because I know from experience that life is hard but just because life is hard does not mean that life is not possible.

Because there’s a lot is to be thankful for. For me today I am thankful that one of my friends from where I used to work came to church with me a few weeks ago! That is an answered prayer honestly! Another thing that I am thankful for is that I got glasses a few weeks ago because I have been having a tough time seeing things far away which has come in handy when I must read small writing because that is something that I struggle with in both seeing things far away and reading small printing. What is something your thankful about? It is up to you if you want to tell me it but I at least want you to write it down somewhere so that you will not forget it. Because being thankful is not just for holidays it is year-round! Because it can help both your mental health and spiritual health both of which are very important.

Christ chose you for a very specific purpose because he loves you and always will so much that he died on the cross for you then rose up three days later which is why we celebrate Good Friday then on the 3rd day after Christ died on the cross he resurrected which is why we celebrate Easter! With Easter, it isn’t all about going to see the easter bunny or doing egg hunts both of which growing up was fun but that’s not what Easter is about. Do you know what Easter’s about? If you don’t know already. It’s all about Christ’s resurrection!  Luke 24:1-8 (NIV) says;” On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.  In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?  He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” Then they remembered his words.” This is exactly the reason I celebrate Easter!  Easter isn’t about going to see the Easter bunny. It’s about spending time with friends and family and celebrating that Jesus is risen and will come back again!

I hope you enjoyed Easter and learned a lot from what I have to say. Have a great week! As I close, I just want to challenge you to take some time and think and pray about what your life purpose is! As always if you ever want or need to talk or have any questions or prayer requests feel free to comment below, email me on Facebook, or e-mail me at homeschoolgradblog@gmail.com.
